Unlike many practitioners, my journey into nutrition did not begin with a personal health crisis.
It began in a quieter way- with a deep curiosity. I love nutrition- plain and simple!
From the time I could read, my book shelves were full of nutrition books. I have always been deeply drawn to how nutrients influence healing and the body's remarkable capacity to recover.

Years later, that curiosity became clinical expertise.

I have spent over 25 years of specialized experience in Critical Care and Oncology Nutrition, as a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician. Throughout my years in clinical practice, I have witnessed the profound role that nutrition plays in acute care and disease management.
From Critical Care to Functional Nutrition
A restoration-based approach to nutrition is
the foundation of my Vitality Nutrition Method.
Yet, it was a brief presentation on Functional Foods.
I remember thinking, what is that? That moment changed everything.
Within months I began advanced training and earned board certification in Integrative Functional Nutrition—a distinction held by only a few Registered Dietitians in Canada.
Each lesson reinforced something I had long believed: nutrition can do far more than manage symptoms. It can help restore the systems that support health.

Beyond Food: The Nervous System Connection

Even more than nutrition, I love all things meditation.
From the very first time I sat down to meditate more than a decade ago, something in me recognized its power. Meditation also became essential while raising three children on my own; I like to think it improved their lives as much as it saved my sanity.
Over time this passion deepened into formal training, I became a Certified Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher and a qualified Mindfulness-Based Eating Instructor (MB-EAT). These deepen my understanding of how stress, awareness and nervous system regulation influence long-term healing.

Through personal and prefessional experiences, I cam to understand something profound:

Healing is not just about food.
It is about the nervous system.
Today, the integration of functional nutrition and nervous system regulation have become the foundation of my work.
A Restoration-Based Approach

Over the years, I have supported hundreds of individuals in restoring energy, improving digestion, normalizing lab values, reducing inflammation and reconnecting with a way of eating that feels sustainable and empowering.

What I know is this:

When we address the root cause and provide the body with what it truly needs, nutrition become so much more

It becomes vitality.
It becomes clarity.
It becomes a return to yourself.

This understanding ultimately shaped what I now call The Vitality Nutrition Method - a restoration-based philosophy designed to support health during midlife.

The Nutrition Solutions Collection

Now, that experience has evolved into The Nutrition Solutions Collection- structured, science-based functional nutrition protocols to simplify healing by translating complex clinical knowledge into clear, practical steps.

The goal is simple:

To provide clarity where there has been confusion.
To help address root causes instead of chasing symptoms.
And to support you in rebuilding your health with structure, confidence and simplicity.

Today my work continues to evolve thorugh writing, education and the development of practical resources designed to help people better understand and restore their health. My mission is simple: to make functional, root-cause nutrition more accessible and to provide clear, structured guidance for individual navigating the complex challenges of midlife.
